Since a lot of you are here… let me tell you something I’ve never said before. Growing up, I used to think love was just about staying. I watched people in my family stay in situations that were clearly breaking them… but nobody ever left. So in my head, I thought: Endurance = Love. It took me years to realize something that changed everything for me. Staying is not always love. Sometimes it’s fear. Sometimes it’s just not knowing you deserve better. I’ve seen people lose themselves completely just because they didn’t want to “start again”. And the scary part? Nobody talks about that side. We glorify staying. We shame leaving. But healing doesn’t always happen in the place that broke you. If you’ve ever had to walk away from something you thought would last forever… I see you. That kind of decision is not weakness.
