@AskCiti I messaged last week about my inability to use my Barclaycard to create my Citi account and was assured it would be fixed by 4/29. It has not! I am still unable to access my statement/transactions and I have a payment due. I refuse to pay my balance blindly!

Crikey. Batten down the hatches, a rant is coming. I just "f-bombed Manila.😳 So the American Airlines cards that I've had for over 20 years just were changed to Citi (bank). Granted, my balances are in the low 3 digits on both. Still, I tried to follow the link from the Barclay page and followed the link to Citi. No Joy. THREE FOOKING TIMES. Give all the numbers in, get a code via SMS: "Please contact us". I did it 3x after running the AI gauntlet. In one, all the prompts were in Spanish🤬 Absolutely fruitless. My cards and most of financial stuff go to the Farm in PA. I'm waiting for my brother to forward me the information I need so I can complete the process.🤬🤬🤬

Citi Bank is to banking as Spirit is to aviation. It’s frightening but American Airlines just went all in with Citi Bank as its official credit card. It’s the worst product rollout since “New recipe” Coca-Cola. Ineptitude, customer service reps that sound like Spirit gate agents

@AskCiti You are trying to make the situation seem less urgent than what is actually taking place. An international credit agency is managing the personal data of thousands of individuals. If the company cannot spell correctly for simple requests, how does that reflect on the company?

@AskCiti How do you expect customers to feel confident with @Citibank knowing that their personal data is being managed by people who cannot spell correctly? It wasn't one misspelled word, it was multiple words and within the same sentence. How is this acceptable?

Citibank said they need the Org bank account number. which is nowhere to be found in the page that they guided me to in my online banking account. And they refuse to cancel the giro standing instructions coz the details are not clear.

Citibank is really the shit. I tried to cancel my Giro standing instruction. The only info I had of the standing instructions were Org Name, and my reference no. with the org.
