With Canada Post services resumed, WSIAT time limits will be adjusted based on the amount of time remaining as of September 25, 2025. WSIB policy 14-02-04 “Clearance Certificate” has been revised: - Newly registered contractors may be required to prepay before clearance is issued - Achieving “good standing” may include payment of interest, service charges, experience rating surcharges, premium adjustments, and other non-compliance charges. A revised WSIB policy allows employers to submit an electronic authorization form to designate or update their authorized representative. Changes can be made at anytime by submitting a new form. The WSIB has launched a new online registration platform for employers to sign up for WSIB coverage; this replaces Form 0775A. You will need to select the primary activity of your business to get your NAICS code. This is an important step with financial implications if misclassified.
