#undertone is downright unsettling every step of the way. I felt like I was completely holding my breath during the final ten minutes of this film. The sound design, camera movement, isolated setting and use of visuals work together to effectively place audience members in the heart of this living nightmare. While the use of sound effects, soft whispers and nursery rhymes in reverse are terrifying, I found the moments of complete silence to be equally powerful when it came to the terror of the unknown. In those silent moments, sitting in a full theatre, you could practically hear everyone’s heart racing. The camera work draws a lot of attention to the background and empty spaces, building the tension one movement at a time. Any horror movie that leaves me feeling this tense is a win in my books. @vvsfilms @A24

#Scream7 is a trip down memory lane for fans of the original film. This storyline heavily relies on nostalgia and recreating iconic scenes, almost too much at some points. The opening scene ROCKED, perfectly blending humour, gore and franchise memories. I enjoyed #IsabelMay’s portrayal of Sidney’s eldest daughter, Tatum, ushering in a new era of Prescott Scream Queens. May has a powerful presence that allows her to stand out in the company of #NeveCampbell and #CourteneyCox. I also appreciate that we see Sidney and Gale discuss the complications of their friendship. However, I would’ve loved to see more of Gale, Mindy, Chad and the new cast members throughout this film, especially considering its nearly 2 hour runtime. I also found certain plot points to be overly predictable and underwhelming. There is plenty of gore and creative kills that will have you squirming in your seat. Overall, it makes for an entertaining watch but there were certainly a few elements that didn’t quite land for me.

I am completely entranced by #LoveStory!! The soundtrack wonderfully compliments every scene and the 90’s nyc vibe is perfection. #SarahPidgeon & #PaulAnthonyKelly effortlessly radiate chemistry that allows this romance to feel like magic from the very first time their eyes meet. Despite knowing these character’s inevitable fate, I’m intrigued to see how they’ll explore the rest of this couple’s story. #LoveStoryFX

Actor #EricDane has died at the age of 53. Dane publicly shared his ALS diagnosis nearly one year ago. The actor was best known for his for roles as Dr. Mark Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy and Cal Jacobs on Euphoria.
