Hier, j’étais convoqué à l’Assemblée nationale dans le cadre de la commission d’enquête sur l’audiovisuel public. Pendant l’audition, la députée LREM Sandra Marsaud m’a reproché d’avoir pris position contre la loi Duplomb, sur mes réseaux sociaux et à travers @vakitamedia. J’y ai répondu en rappelant les faits scientifiques, malgré les dénégations de la députée. Bien sûr, les pesticides ne sont pas la seule (ni la principale) cause des cancers. L’alcool et la cigarette font bien plus de dégâts. Mais le lien est établi entre les pesticides chimiques et certains types de cancers et maladies neurodégénératives comme Parkinson. Ces pesticides sont par ailleurs en bonne partie responsables de l’effondrement des insectes (et donc des oiseaux des plaines agricoles). Affirmer le contraire revient à nier les faits scientifiques.
