so upset and frustrated at my dad who is insistent on putting my cat down because hes old. i am not someone who would force a pet to stay alive just for my own comfort, but my cat is relatively happy and not in pain, im not going to put him down when he still finds joy in life. my dad just wants rid of him so he doesnt have to pay money out on pet bills anymore. i dont know what to do or say anymore. ive come to terms with the fact that my cat wont be around for much longer, but im not going to cut that time short just so i dont have to pay any more money out on his medication. hes a happy cat, and the last two days with the sun out hes been back to his old self sunbathing in the garden. if he was in pain or discomfort of course id consider our options, my dad is just cruel, and then guilt trips me that he didnt even want the cat. bearing in mind i was 16 when i asked my parents for a cat because i was depressed after we moved 2 hours away from all my friends at the time, gave up the college i dreamed of going to, all to be closer to my dads job. im just so frustrated.
