I'd probably go for blue around ~30%ish based on how likely I think it would be to win. Also depends if theres pre-strategizing

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@PatrickHarrisSr @MrBeast No, in the problem you are told before pushing the button that 50% of the population needs to pick blue for blue to win. Would you still pick it if it said instead that blue needs 70% of the vote to win? What about 90% of the vote? Where is your personal cutoff?

Technically, I would not know the threshold because it's a private vote, and Americans respect privacy (unless you are buying a car built in 2027 or later). I accept the real world calls for justified deaths. This thought experiment is unjustified death, so I can't give you an exact number. The way I see this is like looking at the nuclear button. While it's not an exact percentage threshold, does that help illustrate my perspective?

@ISavatgy @MrBeast They really cannot fathom someone looking beyond their own self interests. We're a social species and yet we have so many psychopaths walking amongst us that literally only care about themselves.

@MrBeast Think about it. If 50% of people die, how will your life be? Who grows food? Who picks up your garbage? Who cuts your hair? Etc. Best to press the blue button. If the majority of people press red, let them suffer the lifestyle consequences of living with their own selfish kind.
