AI agents can build good UI. Most people are just bad at directing them. If your prompt is: “make me a beautiful website” don’t be surprised when you get the same lifeless SaaS page: - gradient hero - rounded cards - fake dashboard - zero personality I used @OpenAI Codex to build this: site: loopnest.jccoder.xyz git repo: github.com/JC-Coder/loopn… And no, I didn’t manually write the frontend code. But I also didn’t treat Codex like a magic button. I treated it like a frontend partner. I gave it: - the product idea - the user pain - the visual mood - the full landing page structure - the tech constraints - feedback when it felt generic - That’s the difference. - Codex can write the code. But you still need taste. You need to know when the layout is boring When the spacing feels off When the design has no story. When the page looks like every other AI-generated website.
