The $QR thesis (partial): 1. ATTENTION is upstream of VOLUME. VOLUME is upstream of MARKET CAP. 2. ATTENTION is fleeting. Therefore, VOLUME & MARKET CAP are fleeting too. 3. Hype cycles are attention cycles, and most memecoins only get one big one. Some get two. The best get a few. 4. For example, $DRB is currently enjoying its third attention cycle (see chart below). You can see the attention cycles in the volume and the market cap. 5. Inevitably, attention fades once it hits a peak. Then the question becomes whether there will be another cycle, and how far the market cap will fall between cycles. 6. $QR is an honest attempt to make a memecoin with so many cycles that it could potentially persist forever. 7. The way we do that is by redirecting the $QR to something new every day, so that it never gets old. We recognize that attention is fleeting so we do not try to hold it one thing for more than one day at a time. 8. The thing of the day is determined by the winner of our daily auction @qrcoindotfun, who pays to control the $QR for a day, in order to drive attention to something. 9. Revenue from the auction can then be used to fund initiatives to promote the token, to pay people for their attention with micropayments, to buyback $QR, etc. 10. We acknowledge that attention is fleeting and we view this as the fundamental problem with memecoins, in terms of their inability to hold persistent value. 11. Our solution was to create a memecoin which would drive attention to something new every day through the most widely understood redirection method in the world, a simple QR code. 12. But not just any QR code. A special QR code. 13. The $QR coin.

🚨Avantis Staking Information 🚨
Ok $bnkr fam, my @avantisfi airdrop was getting to be a little too valuable to be held on my $bnkr wallet so I decided to move it to my linked account. While I was at it I decided to do a deep dive on how exactly $avnt staking works. To save yall some time I wrote a TLDR that I’ll put at the beginning of my article here:👀
TLDR: $avnt staked in the Avantis Security Module = rewards, XP boosts, fee discounts and governance rights. Stakers take on a small slashing risk (max 20% of stake) if the protocol takes extreme LP losses. So far no slashing events have ever happened. A lot of pipl just hit stake without knowing what’s really at stake, get it lol. Ok keep reading if you want the nerdy details.
Ok so recently Avantis introduced the Security Module which is a staking system designed to protect LPs and reward long term $avnt holders. Lots of protocols use a similar system so this is nothing new or exotic.
When you stake AVNT, you earn ongoing AVNT rewards, boost your XP by up to 3x, unlock trading fee discounts of up to 40%, and gain governance power over the protocol which basically includes all major decisions on buybacks, burns, fee structures, chain expansion etc.
The ‘security’ aspect comes from a slashing mechanism that only triggers under extreme stress. If the vault buffer ratio ever falls below 0.95 and LPs realize a 5%+ immediate loss, a portion of staked AVNT can be slashed. The users’ max risk is capped at 20% of your staked tokens, so exposure is limited.
So far, no slashing has ever occurred, Avantis’ buffer and treasury are healthy af. I’m pretty sure it would take someone hitting the protocol for multiple tens of millions of US dollars to trigger a slashing event. The system basically provides an extra safety net for LPs and aligns incentives for $AVNT stakers as well. 👌
In short: staking in the SM strengthens Avantis’ resilience because it’s bad ass!
