@kuduskonquest I get what you mean I'm just saying he needs to prove himself more to get that call up even to be a squad player I think he has shown he can be at that level if he continues for the rest of the season then he deserves to be called up.

@barbsecond It’s more squad related factors to include him. Does he deserve to start? No but what he offers is versatility which In a tournament can be extremely valuable if any injuries were to occur to the bench and starters.

@ben_bowman_ Gray is just a very safe option like you can’t go wrong bringing him off the bench if someone is tired and not to mention he can play multiple positions if need be if he can keep this level up he would be an elite squad player for any team Imo

He’d be deserving but I think it’s tricky just with how Tuchel is correctly building the midfield around Declan Rice, but I think if Rice was to get injured or when you’re looking further down the line, I think in terms of profile Gray can become the best option to be the back up for him. Wharton and Anderson etc I think are better partners for him in terms of balance plus they are just better than him atm and more deserving right now.
