Hope Matos has a good career. Wasn't developed very well. Hopefully the Brewers can make something of him.

The Giants announced that Luis Matos was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash considerations. Tyler Fitzgerald was DFA’d to open a roster spot for reliever Dylan Smith, who was acquired from Detroit.

Schmitt at 1B is interesting. Against a lefty so makes some sense. I would love to see him ball out. I know I'm in the minority being a big fan of his.

@GiantHotTakes Roupp at 5 is underrated. I think he is better than most # 5s in the league. If Mahle and Houser can go .500 at 3 and 4 I think we are in good shape.
