@Faye97509913 In PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education) at BC6, the focus on stress is designed to move away from just "knowing" what stress is to "managing" it as a young adult. The curriculum generally categorises and gives students strategies.

@Faye97509913 Many staff members at Baxter are trained Mental Health First Aiders.

@Faye97509913 School Counsellor: Baxter has a fully trained on-site counsellor. These sessions are confidential and provide a safe space to discuss issues outside of academic study.

@Faye97509913 Baxter College works with the Wellbeing and Emotional Support Teams (WEST). You can self-refer through the school’s Mental Health Lead or ask a member of the BC6 staff to facilitate a referral. They offer short-term support using CBT methods for things like anxiety or low mood.

The amount of effort put in to decorating 6th form has gone to new levels.

A big thank you to @AmadaUKLTD for the opportunity to visit their Kidderminster facility with our sixth form engineering students. We learned about the latest advancements in punch and laser technology. Special thanks to Jordan and Beth for their hospitality and expertise.

Well done to the house pumpkin carvers. The winners are Kyle and Summer from 12DCR. Their effort will be displayed in the school reception.🎃

Happy Halloween. Our BC6 students have decided to get into spooky season early with this lovely ghoulish grotto in the Sixth Form Centre.
