SLEEPER TEAMS 😴 Here is 1 team 4A - 6A that is under the radar, but has legitimate potential to make noise next year. Keep an eye out, they might just surprise everyone. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 6A - SKYRIDGE FALCONS @skyridgefb @coachjhemm Skyridge is an intriguing team that I feel has big sleeper potential. They are a very young group, but the players set to make an impact this year are talented. The Falcons have also made a big splash in the transfer department with several players who can contribute at a high level. I have a lot of confidence in this team given the respect factor that I have for Coach Hemm and the program he has built. They will be ready to play. I am specifically looking to see how these players perform, these are some of the key guys on this squad: Jagger Fountaine - QB @JaggerFountaine Eli Mortensen - DB/ WR @eligmortensen Simote Afu - OL @Simote1089639 Omarian Sanders - WR @OmarianSanders Ethan Schreiver - DB @shreeve_10 Beckham Bennett - RB @beckhambennett Andy Anderson - OL Trey Harper - DB @TreyHarp12 5A - TIMPVIEW THUNDERBIRDS @T_BirdFootball Timpview is a historically great program, but the last few years they haven’t been putting up the results we’re used to seeing. I think they have a great chance of getting back on track this year. 5A does have a couple teams that are incredibly talented, so it will be a big challenge in competing with the 🐶’s at the top. The top end talent on with this group is ELITE, and the depth should be better this season. I still have a couple concerns about this team, namely at the QB position.. those concerns will need to be answered on the field before I can make any definitive statements. Here are 3 KEY players that make me excited about their chances: 1. Dennis Tua’one - WR @Dennis_2a1 - Largely considered the best pure talent at the position in the state, Dennis is the type of prospect that changes the entire game with his gravity. If he is utilized correctly, he will dominate individually AND open up the entire field for the other skill players. He’s a 1 of 1 type. 2. Ian Aloisio - OL @AloisioIan Ian has established himself as a top prospect in the country at his position. He has proven himself as a high caliber player for multiple seasons now. Having him as the anchor to the Timpview offensive line is huge. If this unit can build cohesion, they can be a force. 3. Fui Vakapuna - LB @Fvakapuna Fui is a transfer that will make a immediate and noticeable contribution to the defense. He is a P4 talent that plays a violent brand of football - something Timpview is accustomed to. I think this addition is massive and will pay dividends. 4A - SALEM HILLS @hills_salem Coming off of a solid campaign last year, Salem has their sights set on even bigger goals. I think this team has the character and talent to make a big run in 4A. I’m high on these guys because of the big-time players they have returning, but the key to their success will be with Lehi QB transfer Cash Hollingshead ( @DC_Hollingshead ). They are getting a very talented and experienced player at the QB spot that elevates their ceiling to a championship level. He will have 2 NEXT LEVEL weapons that I feel rival any duo in the state in Peyton Higginson and Gordon Wilson. I am eager to see the connection between these 3 develop on the offensive side, and I’m equally as intrigued to see what the 2026-2027 Salem defense looks like - there are some question marks on that side. @PeytonHigginson @Gordon_Wils14

These two are primed for a massive breakout season and are big contributors to Skyridge’s 2028 class … which is the best in the state. Pure D1 caliber talent. Looking back to my first varsity touchdown as a sophomore. I ended up as the top sophomore RB scorer in Utah's highest division (6A). Can't wait for next year!

🚨 PRESEASON RANKING - TEAMS 🚨 Here is my WAY TOO early team rankings heading into next season. This list will likely change as we get closer to final preseason rankings in the fall. 1-5.. 👀 1. Lone Peak - R3 6A What I like? Returning talent is high level on both sides, with QB Cruz Christensen (2027) and LB Kingston Stroshine (2029) leading both units respectively. They also have depth, great coaching, and a TON of young players with high ceilings. Big time player to watch this season is RB Sean Tahi 2027. @cruzchrist11 @KingStro5 @LPKnightsFB @BartBrockbank @seantahi Concerns? They lost a lot of talent, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. Multiple P4 caliber players moving on will leave big shoes to fill. 2. Davis - R1 6A What I like? Once again, the returning talent is elite. My #1 overall prospect in the 2027 class - Bode Sparrow - will be looking to dominate on both sides of the ball once again. He will have a new running mate in the secondary Diesel Dart (2027) who recently received an offer from Michigan. This will be a no fly zone, 📕 it! @bode_sparrow @Diesel_Dart @DavisDartsFB @ScottPeery2 Concerns? Davis loses next level QB Tradon Bessinger. 50+ TD’s and 4,000+ yards will be up for grabs on the offensive side. 3. Mt. Ridge - R2 6A What I like? The Sentinels may have the highest producing QB/ WR combo next year with QB Jaxon Hunt (2027) and WR/LB Tytan Dejong. That duo is formidable and proven, I fully expect an incredible season from both players which should bode well for their team success. @JaxonHunt111 @Tytan_Dejong08 @nick_robins10 @TheRidgeFBLL Concerns? They lose some talent at multiple positions, but I’m particularly interested to see what their DL looks like. If they can compete at a high level on that side, they will have a legitimate shot at the title. 4. American Fork - R3 6A What I like? This roster might be the most balanced in the state. They have REALLY good players at multiple positions on both sides (Christian Hanshaw TE, Noah behm DB, Cash Taiese WR, Jaxon Chadwick OL). There is also confidence in the fact that returning QB Nate Childs (2027) brings experience and continuity to the group. He will have a plethora of pass catchers to work with. @Nate_Childs7 @Jax_Chadwick @CashTaiese @noah_behm12 @cavemanfootball @ChristianTHans2 Concerns? I will be looking to see who leads their team at the RB position. That is a big question mark and will be a factor. 5. Orem - R7 5A What I like? This team is loaded with talent. Their defense is going to be ELITE. I’m talking best in the state. The edge group that they have with Krew Jones, MJ Bateman and Jag Ioane is arguably the best trio I’ve seen in awhile. It will be nightmare to block that front. They also have a top 2 OL unit in the state in my opinion, with multiple high level prospects. @KrewJones1 @MJBateman04 @jagioane_ @OremHSFootball @lancereynoldsjr Concerns? The obvious concern for me is at QB. Depending on who they end up playing at that position, this team could be the best in the state overall. There are my current top 5.
