Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war.  Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. @bigugly Like, a middle class white kid can bullshit their way into interviews using their parents networks or just by being "well spoken". My kids really can't, the degree is sometimes the only thing that gives them any credibility in the working world.

@bigugly This is SO true. One negative downstream effect of this type of article is that the high school students I work with (mostly black and brown kids) all think getting a degree is a waste of time. They actively avoid college when they'd benefit arguably most from it.

the thing about these stories is that young people without college degrees are *also* struggling to find work, but it’s not satisfying to laugh at them the way that some people like to laugh at newly minted bachelor’s degree holders not finding work

I really liked Tales of Arise, I don't get the hate - and I've beaten every single Tales game released in English, even Rebirth, Tempest, Destiny R and Innocence. Arise is a great game.

Happy 5 years to "life like moving pictures". I wrote it when I was closing a lot of big chapters. Even though it's not quite as popular as my other records, I'm glad that it ended up really resonating with people.
