.@redeemed_zoomer describes the reaction he received when he began to respectfully defend his Protestant beliefs against RCC and EO. “There was a severe hostility and nastiness from those communities the second I began to criticize them slightly, which reminded me a lot of the leftist I encountered in high school.” Yup, unfortunate reality. This is the exact same thing that I’ve been saying for a long time too. Same exact experience.

@RF_Monaco @BillArnoldTeach 1 Cor 11:27-30, Jn 6:53-54, "Is" at Last Supper. I would strongly advise you take this one hell of a lot more seriously than you do right now.

One day Teresa of Avila was coming down the steps of her convent when she saw a beautiful young boy. The Child spoke to her and said: "Who are you?" Teresa answered: "I am Teresa of Jesus, who are you?" The Child answered: "I am Jesus of Teresa!"

Has anyone else noticed this trend with people in the MAGA cult? Why is it always the weirdest looking people that attack you and call you a pussy, a sissy, a liberal, etc. They immediately try to say you're weak and beta like it's high school again. Yet when you go to their profile, almost all of them are old boomers, fat gen x, guys LARPing as tough but are just fat and angry. Even the women are just old ladies who think they're tough because they wear jeans and have an Ameican flag background, or they're fat latinas. I don't know people who act quite like that irl though. No one ever calls me those things. No one acts like that around me. Just on here if I say Trump sucks now. The leftist psychos know they're weird and don't really act tough. Just insane. But why do all these MAGA guys and the women act like they're some uber tough as nails cowboys and cowgirls? For following Trump? When you see pictures of them it's like they live in an alternate reality. Insecurity? Why is so prevalent in this specific cult and LARPing?

Everybody is nicer IRL. 99% of the battles here would never take place if we were sitting at a brewpub. Whole lot of flaming jerks here I'd actually like to sit down with, including those who've laid down the worst insults. This is Satan's playground. Come on fellow retards, let's try to make more of this happen IRL.

@Burgess7281975 At this point the good work of Catholic apologists has made these people absolutely culpable. The heresy is well beyond pertinaceous at this point. Thanks, internet!

Are you saying that “Faith Alone” saves . . . again? Works sure seemed to get Judas into trouble. I’m going to explain this one more time and pray you receive the Grace to understand it. We are saved only through Grace but works (or lack thereof) can condemn us. And to pretend this isn’t fundamental to the whole of Christian Doctrine is a sham. And Holy Mother Church Condemned Pelagianism over 1,000 years before your sect even existed. #CatholicX #CatholicTwitter

@hdpayens Protestant soteriology is so lame. A god who is justly filled with rage toward you is willing to pretend he isn't because Jesus human shield. And that same schizo God is incapable of governing a visible human Church. Gee. Sign me up.

If God declares you righteous but you remain unchanged inside, that's not salvation. That's a courtroom trick. Forensic justification, the backbone of Protestant soteriology, teaches that God imputes Christ's righteousness to you like a judge stamping "not guilty" on your file. Your legal status changes. But you, the actual person, remain the same sinner you were five minutes ago. Think about what that implies. God, who is Truth itself, looks at a sinner and declares "righteous" while knowing the person is not actually righteous. The Protestant answer is that God sees Christ's righteousness "covering" you. But Catholic theology asks a harder question: does God's word actually do things, or does it just label things? When God said "Let there be light," light appeared. When Christ said "Be healed," the leper was healed. When God speaks, reality changes. So when God declares you righteous, does He actually make you righteous? Or is He the one Being in the universe whose words don't accomplish what they signify? This is why the Catholic doctrine of infused grace matters. Justification isn't God pretending you're something you're not. It's God actually transforming you through sanctifying grace poured into your soul (Romans 5:5, "God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit"). The Council of Trent, Session 6, taught that justification is "not only the remission of sins, but also the sanctification and renewal of the interior man." God doesn't do legal fictions. He does resurrections. Which view takes God's power more seriously: a declaration that leaves you unchanged, or a grace that remakes you from the inside out?

I usually stay away from getting too deep into conspiracies on big events like this. It's usually tiresome and I don't usually care that much. But I have to say, this to me has been the most obviously staged event I have seen yet. If anything is a conspiracy, it's this.

Penal substitution defines forgiveness as displaced punishment. That’s not what forgiveness is. Forgiveness is the provision of restoration from a state of brokenness or deficiency

@honorablesaint You’re not even a true Christian, Catholics don’t believe you get salvation through Christ, you worship the Pope and believe you need to seek forgiveness through confession and forgiveness to a man. SMH.
