A thrill to attend the @StopSarcoidosis 25th Anniversary Awards Gala. Great to hear about the hard work happening at every level to treat sarcoid and proud to have @UChicagoMed in the fight. Especially inspiring to hear patient success stories, including Ahsoka’s @TheRealJeryl.

In just 24 hours, the @UChicagoMed Heart and Vascular team performed three heart transplants — a rare and remarkable demonstration of expertise, coordination, and unwavering commitment to our patients. This achievement reflects the extraordinary dedication of our multidisciplinary transplant team — surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, perfusionists, coordinators, and countless others — working seamlessly to give patients a second chance at life. Every transplant is a story of hope. We are honored to be part of these journeys, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the donor families whose generosity made these life-saving gifts possible.
