@charliecolecc Acts like she’s doing us a favour by being here. Why should be ever be entitled to benefits? You moved here because you knew this country would provide you a better deal - that’s more than enough to justify your taxes. If not, emotionally blackmail your own government to pay you.

@berylperrol @echetus @trevgoes4th This happened outside of term time? Even worse! How do you congregate a gaggle of school children in this manner during half-term.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 @Nick_Kay He sounds like a smart guy. I vary between both, but after a certain point retardation becomes malice if you don’t step aside. Ask Ruben Amorim, he’s probably your neighbour.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 Not to be tin-foil, but the entire purpose of the post Bretton order is to concentrate wealth through persistent inflation, so not sure we can get past this. Elections just let us decide the speed of it. Although, if now isn’t the end of post-post BW, I don’t know what is.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 Even 35 they had no desire. They didn’t have any desires really is the problem. Not one intellectual motivation in their bones, just pure ambition to become PM. They “cut” because markets told them they had to. The second markets told them they could borrow, they gorged.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 25 was just an example. The Tories had no desires or ambitions to get things to 30. I remember when Osborne got to 40 and went on the news to say “good news guys austerity is over” Thought to myself I don’t recall it starting.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 Not too sure yet. His non-committal response regarding the Triple Lock the other day didn’t fill me with confidence.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 Yes but not by much is my point. He didn’t promise to take spending down from 40% to 25%. Just a few percentage points. Same with immigration. That was obvious from miles away. If you couldn’t see that - skill issue, sorry,

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 That is as far outside of the consensus as your generation would consider to vote for, so sure. It’s no surprise that as newer voters enter the electorate, parties that offer policies outside of the consensus (Restore & Greens) seem to pop up and do well.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 By 2015 onwards, they were not promising to roll back the size of the state, nor spending in any meaningful way. All just window dressing with the Blairite consensus.

@trevgoes4th @MontyCristo11 The ones below 60? I have absolutely not one shred of sympathy for, please.
