@vurnt22 First time I actually saw him play was ‘97, and when I saw he was playing fingerstyle on a teeny (custom?) hollow body, everything about his sound made so much more sense to me, and I also realized what an effing incredible and unique a guitarist he is in the rock world.

Lindsay doesn’t use a pick -does a thumb & forefinger for leads. His guitar’s were built by the late great Rick Turner, who also a guitar or 2 for Jerry Garcia.

I hope Dave, Eric, and Stephen just audioslave this. Find some awesome vocalist without an ego/alcohol problem and a less cult-y vibe, write some cool new music, and have a happy 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or whatever the hell act they're on. Call it, like, Jane's Rehabilition or something.

Anybody, including Perry’s wife, attempting to reduce this solely to a conflict over stage volume, is willfully ignoring the darker historical context fueling Perry’s rage-that he’s not currently in top form, whilst Dave has risen from the ashes of both illness & addiction.
