Press Statement PTI welcomes Pakistan’s diplomatic role in bringing Iran and the US to the negotiating table with hope to ensure durable regional peace. In a statement issued by PTI Central Media Department on Friday, Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram urged the government to persuade the US to rein in Israel to stop strikes in Lebanon. PTI CIS reaffirms demand to move Imran Khan to Shifa Hospital for treatment. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that over the past few weeks, Pakistan has emerged as a responsible actor on the global stage by facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States aimed at achieving a negotiated settlement to the Middle East crisis. The party welcomed Islamabad’s constructive diplomatic role in promoting regional peace and stability, saying it reflects PTI founder Imran Khan’s long-held philosophy of prioritizing peace over conflict and resolving disputes through dialogue rather than the use of force or war. In a statement issued by the PTI Central Media Department on Friday, PTI Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the Islamabad talks had earned Pakistan a positive image and urged the government to seize the opportunity to ensure a complete ceasefire and durable peace in the region. Waqas also strongly condemned what he termed the naked aggression of the Zionist regime against Lebanon, saying such actions risk derailing fragile diplomatic efforts and amount to grave violations of international law. PTI CIS emphasized that Pakistan should not ignore Lebanon in these peace efforts and should convince the United States to rein in the rogue Israeli state for committing war crimes, which, he said, is hell-bent on sabotaging the peace process by targeting Lebanon despite a two-week ceasefire. “We appreciate Pakistan’s positive diplomatic role, but true credibility begins at home,” Waqas said, urging the government to uphold human rights, ensure the rule of law, and align domestic conduct with its international posture. Waqas stated that the party founder and his wife were being kept in solitary confinement, with restricted access to books, television, family members, and legal counsel. He said that denying a former prime minister basic visitation rights and medical care of his choice reflected a disturbing pattern of political victimization. Waqas noted that Imran Khan had immediately postponed the planned public gathering at Liaquat Bagh to ensure that no political activity would distract from Islamabad’s sensitive diplomatic engagement aimed at defusing Middle East tensions. “This decision demonstrated statesmanship and national responsibility,” he said, adding that the government, in contrast, continued to commit constitutional, legal, and fundamental rights violations, even as Khan suffered severe vision loss in one eye and required urgent medical attention. PTI CIS reiterated that Imran Khan should be transferred to Shifa International Hospital and permitted to receive treatment under the supervision of his personal physicians. Far left in India - Pakistan has become a Vishwa Guru. India’s foreign policy failed as we didn’t become the mediator. Well Pakistan was not a mediator they were a MESSENGER! COPY PASTE MESSENGER. Why didn’t India mediate the US–Iran ceasefire? Because foreign policy is driven by strategy, not branding. Some people argue that India missed an opportunity while Pakistan gained visibility. But this ignores key realities. First, pressure and dependency. Countries like Pakistan operate under multiple external pressures, including financial support from powers like the United States, China, and institutions like the International Monetary Fund. This influences their diplomatic role. Second, global context. Mediation is usually led by European nations, but current tensions and disagreements with leaders like Donald Trump have limited their involvement. This created space for others. Third, India’s strategy. India follows strategic autonomy. Whether in the Russia–Ukraine War or Middle East tensions, India prioritizes energy security and balanced relations over short-term optics. India did not step back. It chose long-term national interest over temporary global attention.

If women like Meesha who have power, fame, and position are still punished for speaking their truth, can you even imagine how many women keep silent because they know that a man’s so-called ‘reputation’ carries more weight than a woman’s lived experience of assault and violence?
Voicepk.net@voicepkdotnet

In a decree issued on Tuesday in the Ali Zafar Vs Meesha Shafi case, a Lahore Sessions’s Court has ordered that Meesha Shafi must pay Rs5million in damages to Ali Zafar, for levelling allegations of sexual harassment against him. The verdict came amid a wave of immense disappointment to many of those who were hoping for a judgement more considerate of someone who had alleged sexual harassment. Loo jee ye nawa katta kholne Laga Amir Jamal ka Naam bhi le sakta tha but pasthun card kaese khelta phir 😟? Sabse bara target to wo hua tha political views ki wajha se Such a bullshit tweet, comparing captaincy fiasco with players who got targeted for their political views
Reyan tweet media
Abdullah@michaelscottfc

Maybe I'm wrong but why is it always Pashtun cricketers getting targeted? - Shaheen sacked after just five games - Fakhar banned over a tweet for Babar - Rizwan not given authority and sacked - Naseem given the biggest fine ever Honestly this pattern is really hard to ignore.

Scenario: 1- It’s now proven the tweet was posted by his manager. 2- Naseem has removed him and publicly apologised for misuse of his platform. 3- PCB has also blocked that manager, which means he was previously allowed to work with players. In all this, how did Naseem Shah end up with a PKR 2 million fine? How is this his fault?
Naseem Shah@iNaseemShah

A recent post from my account was made by my management team and does not reflect my views. I take full responsibility for my platform and have implemented the necessary changes to ensure this does not happen again. I sincerely apologise to everyone affected by this misuse of my platform.
