@nolangoND34 First, Let me say that I don’t think Schrews is the answer. However , this is a 90% admin(lack of NIL) issue and 10% Schrews . ND doesn’t have NBA players(maybe aside of Haralson) why accept 100k when your market value is 500k-1M? Schrews can’t help that, all Admin……

I mean seriously do we still blame Shrewsberry for ALL of this? Absolutely terrible season. I get it. But also seems as if his resources are very slim. 3.5 million dollar budget will not cut it in today’s world.

It’s actually kind of impressive that no matter how much you explain it to people they can’t comprehend that money is WAY more of an issue then Micah Shrewsberry. Not even the biggest Shrewsberry guy, but we are in a horrific spot at 3.5 mil in NIL

I was a big supporter of bringing Micah back next season because I was of the mindset that in his 3 seasons as HC that we have had horrendous injury luck. When this team was healthy last season they beat two tournament teams. Now that we lost our entire roster and all our production, what was the point? Are we gonna give him another 3 years to completely revamp the roster and stack talent again? 0-32 here we come.

@FireShrewsberry They owe him another 3-4 years on his contract. If Admin isn’t going to pony up for NIL, they also are not going to pay out Schrews and then hire another coach . I’m with you, think he has many issues as a coach, but the much bigger problem is admin not adapting to $

Someone explain to me what the reason is for keeping Shrewsberry? He has lost Muhammad, Sundra, Haralson and expected to lose Certa and Burton. If he has shown no success in the past few years, and his guys are leaving, why keep him? Don’t blame NIL.

@talia_baia With their schedule in 2026(this next season) 10-2 most certainly will not get them in again. They will not be top 12 with 10-2 record on the schedule. Must go 11-1 or 12-0. However, if they are going to be as good as I think they are, 12-0 should be the most likly record.

Still crazy Notre Dame’s season basically ended in September — 2:53 left in the fourth— due to that botched snap vs. Texas A&M. After that, it did not matter how many games they won. They dominated for 10 straight games. That was their playoff game. September 13th.

@JBergsss Big Irish fan here. Leonard cannot throw downfield. Been like this all season. His ability to lead, make decisions, and run makes him a good college player.. but as a GM in the NFL, I wouldn’t take Leonard in a hypothetical 20th round knowing the NFL only goes 7 rounds deep.

@SuperStatsDave After thinking for a day, as well as listening to kfan all morning, I mostly agree, but would increase KOC blame to 1B, keeping Darnold at 1A. He didn’t adjust quickly enough, slants, quick outs, WR screens, any play that gets ball out of Darnolds hands inside of 2 secs

My blame meter for tonight: 1–Darnold Way way down to #2 thru #4 2-KOC for not realizing soon enough that his QB was rattled 3-Hockenson for not catching one of the tough 3rd down throws 4-Reichard for the out of bounds dagger before half 5–Some questionable non-calls
