@Gopnikker yeah he is more interesting in the book. I thought cutting out the details of llewellyn's death and how the circumstances were misunderstood also left something out wrt the original intent.
English

@bionic_ooze He has a line along the lines of “you want me to second say the world” which is so cool and I wish they kept that in the movie. It feels like it helps explain him just that little bit more. but I think you’re right that they still got his vibe across.
English

For anyone who has read No Country and watched the movie did you also feel like they butchered Chirgurh?
In the book his philosophy feels very straightforward but in the movie he feels way more vague. To this day I still don’t know how I feel about this story from McCarthy.

@Son_of_Mars_III nature healing itself. deportation is so beautiful.
English

Learned recently that a lot of the Mexicans that grow up in Cali and join gangs, if they aren't citizens, get deported to Mexico. They aren't "real" Mexicans (and a lot don't even speak Spanish) so the gangs in Mexico will kill them for fun. I think that's beautiful.

@ArcasDream was this the last time an arab was beheaded by westerners? maybe it is time to review the balance sheet.

@Eng_china5 Paying respect to the graves of those who occupied, humiliated, and nuked your country is not diplomacy. It is historical surrender dressed up as statesmanship.
English

@BattleBabyErika @takaichi_sanae you are an indian man subverting japanese politics. none of this has anything to do with you. return home, street shitter.
English

@takaichi_sanae And this is how the rest of the world react to your disgraceful behaviors.

@CrushCalypso the first two are good but chaos theory is when it really takes off imo. it becomes less of a stiff thief variation. I rue the death of this franchise mainly because the multiplayer was so kino.
English

@WinterPragma "cluster B types" as you say can spot these people a mile away. familial influence used to protect people from parasitic partners imo, man or woman, but this isn't as much of a thing anymore.
English

This is true, for the most part.
I did know some extraordinarily nice women in my childhood, who are still married to extraordinarily nice men.
Doormats often end up with assholes, though, because doormats are rarely guided on how to find a good partner.

I knew a ton of women like this. the more supportive, low maintenance, and "pure" they were, the higher likelihood that their husband was a huge asshole who either left them or we all hoped he would.
