it’s a shame that the self acclaimed National chairman of what is now Nigeria’s no 1 opposition party cannot even speak fluent English. Mind you I’m none partisan so this is my views as an ordinary citizen. I don't understand why people are concerned with the language Nafiu Bala speaks. In my opinion, everyone should speak the language they are comfortable with, and there is no reason to insist that someone should learn other people's languages. This is one of the things we have been striving for as secondary school students; we want the Kano government to remove the requirement imposed on our teachers that they must teach us in English.

Berom youths poison Nine cattle in unprovoked attack on herders in Barkin Ladi Plateau By: Zagazola Makama Nine cattle have been confirmed dead while three others are in critical condition following a suspected poisoning by Berom Youths in Rakum village, Kassa District of Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State. Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the troops of Sector 4 of Operation Safe Haven responded at about 1625 hrs on April 18 after receiving a report that cattle belonging to one Dauda Jalo had fallen ill and died under suspicious circumstances. On arrival at the scene, troops discovered nine dead cattle, while three others were still struggling for survival after allegedly grazing on a suspected poisonous substance. The affected livestock were found within grazing fields in the community, prompting immediate concern among residents over possible deliberate contamination.

Anybody whose brain is functioning knows that since the blue and red metro lines started working and many roads were repaired and constructed for example the Lekki-Epe Expressway and coastal highway has caused traffic to reduce on the roads.

For the record, the youths arrested by the Nigerian Army and labeled as suspected bandits are actually the indigenous youths and vigilantes from our community. This is why we can't defend ourselves. Whenever our youths try to protect us, they get arrested and disarmed. Anytime this happens, the community faces attacks again, with many killed, because our defenders are locked up. These are not the real terrorists; they're still in the bushes and mountains planning their next attack, while the military, knowingly or unknowingly, helps them by disarming our people. The Nigerian Army should do a serious investigation and stop arresting our people whenever they try to defend their communities from terrorists! 🤲🏽

Troops recover body of hunter brutally killed in Plateau community By: Zagazola Makama Troops under Operation Safe Haven have recovered the body of a 30-year-old man in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, following a report by local residents. Security sources said the incident was reported on April 17 by a community leader in Dan Tanko area, who alerted troops to the discovery of a corpse in a pit near Ariri village. The sources said troops immediately moved to the scene, where they confirmed the body, later identified as Elisha Abbah, a resident of the area. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased had gone into a nearby bush for a hunting expedition alongside a friend, Yakubu Etsi, 26. According to the sources, the two hunters reportedly separated into different directions during the activity. “At about 2300 hours on the previous day, the surviving hunter said he heard gunshots from the direction where his friend had gone. “He returned home, assuming his companion had also retreated safely, but raised the alarm the following morning when it became clear the deceased had not returned,” the source said. The matter was subsequently reported to community leaders, who in turn notified security agencies, leading to the recovery of the body. Authorities said investigations were ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. They added that the general security situation within the area remains calm, while troops have intensified patrols to forestall further incidents.
