Blanco ISD

Due to a major water main break this evening, the scheduled pipe repairs near BMS have escalated into an emergency. As a result, the building will be without water tomorrow. School is canceled for ONLY BMS students tomorrow, February 26, 2026. We apologize for the late notice.

Blanco ISD will resume classes as normal tomorrow. Please be aware that some ice remains on walkways. Crews are treating areas and placing caution signs to mark slick spots, but additional icy areas may develop overnight. Please take your time, use caution, and avoid icy areas.

For the safety of our students, staff, and families, Blanco ISD will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. After driving on district roads, administrators found icy spots and water that is expected to refreeze overnight. School will resume on Wednesday with a regular start. ❄️
