@nascar_opinion I'm not sure if he declared for truck points at the start of the season but even then he should be allowed to have a shot. Brent Crews is still eligible to make The Chase even though his situation is different due to being underage.

And this is where I hate the eligibility rules.
If a driver can make the post-season ON POINTS while missing multiple events then they should be eligible.

Corey Heim is 2nd in the NASCAR Truck Series standings, but not eligible to make the Chase.
In my opinion, the NASCAR waiver system isn’t needed. If you can make the Chase in less starts, you simply deserve it more than the others.
