With the new year comes a new Minute Book, carrying on a tradition of handwritten record-keeping started in 1837! Just like the very first Minute Book, this one contains a hand-illustrated frontispiece by Lisa Harse and a poem by BNCBC alum and club historian William O’Chee 1/2

And we’re gone 💨💨, on our way to our first training trip of the year to Eton-Dorney Rowing Lake! Thankyou to the 1815 club, our new Bncbc alumni society who helped to fund this venture whilst river levels in Oxford are unrowable! 💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤 #Rowing #Oxford #Dorney

Although we can’t get on the river 🚩, our novices have been having a first taste of rowing today in the tank session at Iffley! 3/6 sessions done so far and lots of promising new rowers!

Our beautiful new artefact has been delivered to the Brasenose College archives today! Thankyou to Pete Edmondson (the President of our alumni society, the 1815 club) who drove it to Oxford so it could be safely received by the college!

What an evening, what an event! A massive thank you to the 1815 club committee for hosting the handover of one of the oldest pieces of Bncbc memorabilia last night! A special thankyou goes to all the alumni who came to support us!
