@bob_claws Amen. Oilers fans are just the same from the regular season to the playoffs. I moved here during the decade of darkness & even then they cheered loud & proud. It’s a great atmosphere & worth the money every single game. 🧡

Growing up in Toronto & going to Leafs games, I don’t think I ever witnessed the absolute born & bred crazy that is Oilers’ fans. Just a special bunch & definitely the best atmosphere of any of the rinks I have been to across Canada & the US. 💙🧡🤍

Went out last night and didn't have to pay for any drinks, not one... but I'm definitely paying for it today.

@meganalbu They look tired and slow and apathetic at times. Kind of all year really. I feel the same way. Rest up make a few changes and take a run at it at full strength next season. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I am not enjoying this series at ALL. Felt like the Oilers barely survived G1 and these last two games have been bad. If they really are just tired, I’m okay with them taking a summer of much-deserved rest to come back even better next year. #LetsGoOilers

@meganalbu Right? Especially the political stuff. That’s gone so insane in the last 10 years that it’s changed friendships and torn apart families just because of where someone’s political bias sits. That one blows my mind and the lack of self awareness that comes with it too. 😮‍💨

Oilers twitter is doing its thing after one loss and it never ceases to amaze me. It does make me wonder what some of these folks lives look like outside of social media when a loss brings such vile reactions? I’m guessing not great. 🤦🏼‍♂️ #letsgooilers

@meganalbu I think that’s part of it, however I think there’s something bigger at play as well. People are a little unhinged these days which I believe is unchecked mental health concerns. Like the self awareness isn’t there that these reactions are over the top. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@bob_claws I think so. I wonder if people are stressed about Connor not winning the Cup before his contract is up?
