Truly ridiculous! The use of the beep test to measure the fitness of Irish firefighters has been labelled as "discrimination" because a middle-aged migrant woman complained to the Workplace Relations Commission. We saw the consequences of lowering standards to employ migrant women unfolding on the streets of the capital last week when an African woman drove a bus through a crowd of people killing a man. Now Ireland is dropping fitness standards for firefighters, where does this end?
