A back and forth dual with the crowd going nuts is the best way to watch wrestling. Great way to spend a Sunday. Benn hadn’t been on the mat in 5 years. Hats off to the the coaches, wrestlers and that group of 6th graders that stepped up.

Congratulations to Vinny Mayberry who finishes 5th at the State Wrestling Tournament. Vinny was a 11-3 winner over over Cole Schmauss from Cresco, Crestwood! Vinny ends his sophomore year at 43-3, tied for 16th most wins in school history! Vinnie is 83-6 in his 2 year HS career!

On January 22nd at the McGivern/Blenderman Duals hosted by DM Lincoln, Vinny Mayberry recorded the quickest win by fall in school history! Vinny :06 win by fall moves 4 others to 2nd place (:07). Can anyone name those 4? Congrats Vinny! @TuckerWeber @CoachButhePE @CoachAsche
