@CalebDOTexe_ Yee, I don't disagree. We have a lot of KS page updates we're working on to provide more clarity to backers for sure.

@brfearing It would have been really cool if when you started the drip feed you at outlined the vision for these cards! Selections felt random at first and with some clarity on direction and that these were carefully chosen with story purpose I think some recent feedback would be null

@CalebDOTexe_ Indeed! So much more fun stuff to reveal. It's very hard to contain it all for months and then drip feed it to everyone, but effective marketing just be that way sometimes. 😅

@brfearing It's so sick to see elestrals engaging with the world around them and actually see runes from the tcg as moves with more physicality. Cryoblast is one of the only runes I can think of that feels like an attack so seeing others is awesome

@brfearing @andrees_joseph @CalebDOTexe_ @RowRow1215 I get that. Ive said in other posts that it makes sense bc I understand the draw is to convert rpg players into tcg players. Like I fully get the concept of it and the concept makes sense. Its just one of those "feels bad" moments. My fomo is still making me get 3 promo packs 😂

I think that’s part of the problem tho, not every product can be made strictly with the entrenched player in mind. We also have to do things that excite growth. These are packs for new Elestrals fans, a lot of which don’t play at all. How playable the card is matters little. They are themed to the video game we are building and what makes sense for its story. It’s a very hard thing to balance and sometimes in lieu of the most optimal product for you, we have to look at the most optimal product for Elestrals.
