Kas, you know I respect your opinion and I understand where you’re coming from. But my concern is the league he’s coming from. Serie A is far slower and nowhere near the intensity of the Premier League.
Are we really convinced Ederson is the man to replace Casemiro and take us to the next level? Honestly, I’m not. I just can’t see him coming into the Premier League and grabbing games by the scruff of the neck.
For me, it’s a no. Don’t buy into the hype.

There’s lots to like, I see people hating…but I’m not seeing *why* high line suffocating low blocks, PnP to cover the line, drops into an ip back 3 at times—scalability from Serie Ass to PL really my only concern

Won’t claim to be an expert but from watching his match comps I have the same horrible feeling I got when I was watching Ugarte’s comps when we signed him. I refuse the believe there isn’t better/better value midfielders out there
