The first time I saw the concept @dlongfish sent me I was like.. goddamn that's heat. And then when Josiah modeled and textured it? And @JamesVietChe1 animated it? And Kevin and @JamesAdkinsVFX suped it up with vfx? And @bryanhiga made the audio sing? Now that's some gamedev 🤘🏽

These gaming layoffs are terrible and depressing, I love this hobby but if the very people who pour their heart and soul into making this form of entertainment are losing their livelihood then what are we doing? instead of record profits, how about record retention

@JessicaRauVoice was so amazing to work with! She brought the Sirens to LIFE! Bringing this moment to fans was a true testament of the collaboration within the team. So proud of how it turned out. 🥹

@sonic_presence @nick_tomassetti also helped bring this moment together with the sound of the big doors opening as well! Still one of my favorite moments to be a part of. ❤️

Last but certainly not least is the huge and powerful sound of the doors opening, made by the awesome @bryanhiga. Take a close listen to some of the high frequency elements when the doors finally open and see if you can detect a through-line Bryan laced throughout the game...

Tl;dr Burnout is real. Life can be difficult. Take care of yourselves. I'm about to take 4 weeks off to recharge and hope to do some stuff I haven't done in awhile, like write/play music, paint models, leatherwork.
