@bulborb87 Even if you're right (which I lowkey doubt), the potential slander for Charizard going 0-4 is too good to pass up. Like, I win no matter what the outcome.

@bulborb87 @khazarAntlers Im willing to give Larvesta and Deino a pass only cause they both become very strong mons but the others its just messed up. Funnily enough I did a playthrough in BW that was only pseudo legendaries

Looking back at this post, why the hell is the main problem for hoenn is it having too much water and not the awful stat distribution for the newly introduced pokemon

@Dawleylama1 @khazarAntlers yeah gen 5's real problem was how many late bloomers it has: pawniard, meinfoo, rufflet, vullaby, but ESPECIALLY larvesta & deino (in gen 5: do not use these 2, seriously don't, you have to absurd amount of grinding for these 2)

@khazarAntlers I'd say Unova's biggest issue wasnt the lack of old Pokemon but the level requirement for so many to evolve. In a vacuum it's negligable but you put in the other Gens the issues arise. Are you really going to use a 350 BST Pokemon to level 50 when others are fully evolved by 40?

@lillicrozma @khazarAntlers yeah if you haven't stocked up on repel's: your gonna get extremely annoyed and frustrated running into Tentacool's & Wingull's every 5 seconds

@khazarAntlers I don’t think most people care about that while everyone who’s played the game has experienced the constant surfing and constant tentacools

@Silver_Comics11 @khazarAntlers yup, and if I recall you only need to use Waterfall once in the entire game (excluding backtracking) and Dive is only needed to be used twice. and you need to stock up on repels so your not getting mobbed by tentacool's & wingull's every 5 seconds

@khazarAntlers Too much water is reductive, but fair. A decent section of the game is a long stretch of area with random encounters. Imagine if there was a part of a region that was only tall grass or caves. Plus, there are 3 necessary water HMs.

@khazarAntlers I haven’t played alola in like 8 years but the tutorial was not as bad as paldea that shit was like an hour so much fucking dialogue and cutscenes

@QuirklessStoner i don't see the issue with the Subspecies/Variants being reskin's many games reskin enemies all the time so why should anyone get upset when Monster Hunter does it?

@AndyBakesYT yeah you REALLY should not rely on Staraptor as your main source of damage, yes you do want support, but you also need other offensive mons for when things go south.

The other problem that makes Staraptor a bit of a “Noob Trap” right now is that’s too many Staraptor teams but all their eggs in one basket and have 0 offensive pressure outside of Staraptor I’m sorry but Incin + Grimmsnarl + Raichu + Sinistcha is going too far (8/10)

Mega Staraptor: is it a Broken Game Changing Mon? Or is it an overrated noob trap? The answer to both questions is: Yes Staraptor is a really unique Mon with some very interesting strengths and weaknesses that will help shape Reg M-B. So let’s talk about this Birb! (1/10)
