We need new shit.
Movies and shows take years out of your life to make- why do that to yourself for something thats already been done?
That being said- there have been a few great remakes.
Martin Scorsese's Cape Fear being one.

AFTER YANG. I avoided it for so long to protect my soul. It released on the day of my dad’s passing. I knew I’d never be truly ready to watch it. Here we are at the end of the year. On a day I spent reflecting on of my loss, and this serendipitously saw right through me.
