In all elections and referendums, we don't have to present ID. Same for getting on a plane, getting a prescription or buying a phone.

The timing of the sound doesn't matter, I'll edit it in post. Is this necessary? No. Is it esoteric? Extremely. But the more Monkey Island the better I say.

@SkilletDoux Ah! I just watched a video on "what is authentic?" cuisine. And having just read Cuisine and Empire by @rachellaudan my current thinking is that there's a big temporal component to it all. Dish A is an example of Cuisine B from Period C. Maybe..
