Sure you might find a hidden gem at one of those camps who would bypass an HBCU given the opportunity anyway

Spending more on 1 game than they pay the HC?

Winning the Celebration Bowl, Bayou Classic, Boombox Classic, etc. won't get any of those players to the next level. Most of those things are black culture at it's finest created by us to celebrate us.

HBCUs were being left out of the FCS playoffs or got in but lost with little financial gain so the Celebration Bowl was created to even the playing field and give HBCUs some financial relief.
