God’s promises may be distant and disputed, but they are never deficient.

If we are going to stand up in the pen to get shed of the wolves, we should and better have a refuge and a strength.

A person who will not follow leadership is not fit to be in leadership.

If God exists is our starting point, then “niceness” is not the chief virtue. Holiness is.

Feeding the longing for Heaven is the way to a more content life on earth.
