@riahthelee It feels like everyday our primary school is giving us a heads up asking the children to bring in a £1 for various charities. Our school did ask parents to donate any old Christmas jumpers to give to the families who couldn’t afford to go buy one though.

I have 2 kids and 9 different dress up days next week. This is ridiculous. 1. It expects families to be able to go out at the drop of a hat and get multiple Christmas character shirts and ugly sweaters at the most expensive time of year… 1/3

I can’t believe it’s been 6 months and I’m still not over my failed heart surgery. I’m grieving the cured life I dreamt of 🥺

Does any primary school still do that thing where the kids draw their own faces and then it gets printed on a tea-towel you can buy? Absolutely elite primary activity that was.

Now, I don’t believe in God or a Heaven. But when I was moments away from cardiac arrest I felt completely at peace and so full of joy, I even saw and heard my Mum telling me to wake up. The experience has completely changed me

This week I went for elective heart surgery which I’ve longed so long for. I wanted a cure, I needed a cure. Instead it was traumatic, unsuccessful and instead I almost lost my life. Tell me why I’d do it all again for the slightest chance of a cure.

@sheila2me @ask_aubry I sold some of my sons toys on FB Marketplace and a man collected them. Moments later I was being harassed with messages about my looks and if we could meet up etc. We got CCTV put up the next day

Dude: "Why are women so paranoid?" When something happens, the same dude, "She should have taken precautions, no situational awareness, why was she out there alone, why did she talk to a guy she didn't know?" Etc etc

shout out to the man who catcalled me from his truck as he drove up from behind and then caught a side view and yelled “oh my god, I’m sorry!” as he sped past. making the most of this fleeting opportunity to dress like a jump scare for sexual harassers.
