@caliewh0re (Helpful post) Gender is a flexible thing. It’s okay to experiment and find what’s best for you. Remember to not force yourself into a box just to fit in with others. Do what makes you comfortable and happy. What that is may change over time. Everyone lives their lives in phases

@Rikalii @flos70 @SierraStriker i have a very complicated relationship with my family so i don’t know if i’ll be able to do that with all of them but i know i’ll do it with my grandma at least

@caliewh0re @flos70 @SierraStriker if you trust your family, make sure to have a genuine heart to heart conversation. Face to face preferably, they should be able to understand you if they care for you.

@Rikalii @flos70 @SierraStriker i guess i can. it’s just so so so scary. i think my grandma (who i live with) would support me it i don’t know about the rest of my family

@caliewh0re @flos70 @SierraStriker Even if people around you aren't supportive, please don't let that stop you from living your life. You can always find better people that can be your family going forward. But you live only once, make sure to make the most out of it. <3

I will just say that it is the best thing I have ever done. If you have good friends and family, they will support you no matter what, it might be rough at first and they might not get it initially but give them some time and hopefully they will understand. My family wasn't supportive at all initially, now they are my biggest supporters. My mom and dad both are <3 you only need to be brave for the initial step of coming out, once the ball starts rolling it will be unstoppable. I hope you figure something out and be happy Luca, U deserve it

@Rikalii @flos70 @SierraStriker im also wondering if i’m an egg. i know i’d love the physical changes of hrt but the hard part is coming out and all the social consequences of being trans

@flos70 @SierraStriker only u know that <3 u can get hrt prescribed and not use it, or use it for a month and see how u feel etc. (this is a recommendation someone else got from their psychiatrist supposedly) i hope u can figure things out <3

@caliewh0re @Penguin_D1ver @AZKimrean @bluknightshade @hajinights i definitely get that but you'd be surprised how easy it is to pass im 23 and not on hrt and i pass totally fine i promise there is hope out there !! the choice is never between being stuck a sad girl vs a not passing trans guy (me at 19 vs me now trust it is so easy to pass!!)

@szonzy_ @Penguin_D1ver @AZKimrean @bluknightshade @hajinights i’ve tried binding my chest and it does feel relieving but i think i’d have a hard time passing (im shirt and have wide hips and a very feminine face) so i prefer to be unhappy as a girl rather than spend so much time in transitioning to not be satisfied/not pass

@caliewh0re @hajinights It’s a very common experience among trans men. Doesn’t necessarily mean you’re trans but that could be an interesting thing to look into!
