My Friday calligraphy group downed tools today as we enjoyed an origami session with class member Alison, who has been wowing us with her paper creations lately and kindly showed us how to fold hearts, butterflies and envelopes. Very addictive!

🎶 Life is a cabaret, old chum. 🎶 These beauties have been waiting patiently to be shared and I can’t wait to see how they looked in situ when Anthony and Andrew tied the knot on Saturday. Their tables were named after musicals and written in dramatic gold on black.

I was gifted a folded pen some time ago and never got the hang of using it, but now I have a purpose for it after taking part in an online Ben Shahn Letters workshop with US calligrapher Carol DuBosch. These are my early attempts, so they’re not perfect, but a lot of fun!
