NPA Confirms Warrant of Arrest for Controversial Social Media Personality Musa Khawula in 2022 Murder Case The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape has confirmed that social media influencer Musawenkosi “Musa” Khawula remains at large, with an active warrant of arrest issued in a high-profile 2022 murder case. According to official correspondence from the Director of Public Prosecutions, dated 6 March 2026 in response to an inquiry, Khawula faces charges in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court (CAS 35/03/2022) for the alleged murder of his former boyfriend, Wandile Khambule. The NPA letter states that Khawula was released on bail following an initial court appearance but failed to attend proceedings on 28 January 2025. A warrant of arrest was issued that day, and his bail was formally forfeited on 11 February 2025. The matter had been enrolled for plea and trial on 30 May 2024 but was postponed multiple times to allow Khawula to secure new legal representation. Despite these opportunities, he has not appeared in court since early 2025 and “is still at large,” the NPA confirmed. The authority noted that it has liaised with the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Vredenburg, which is conducting active tracing efforts to apprehend him and bring him before court. Khawula, widely known on X (formerly Twitter) as “Gossip Girl” for his celebrity and political scoops, has not publicly commented on the latest developments. The NPA emphasised that while it does not handle tracing and arrests, it remains concerned that the accused’s continued absence prevents justice from being served in this serious matter.

Actually it's cheaper to start a business in SA than fill up your bakkie. Anyway. 1. There will never be more than 50 employees. Unlikely given model anyway but if so let's do what banks and telcos do, hire contractors. From India, in India, because who cares about local jobs? 2. It's been a long time since packing tiles or running a till to have anything of my own but even an entry level job affords your own company. 3. When you have your own company your brain rewires instantly. It's no longer about a job but more than that you have your very own business. Might not do anything but require 2 annual reports to stay legit, but it's a shift in your approach. Now it's about developing and building your own thing. Yes you still have to suck the Karens and unaffordable breakdowns, taxis or whatever. But you have something. All it needs is the next something, then the next, maybe you're just being lazy and asking AI to find the gaps in the market. People post viral threads about how to do that I won't not farming engagement just posting gems I polished justaposed beautifully with my polished turds.

If you want to start a company in SA the official website is one way or you can use their own company registration tool or you can use a 3rd party. Including parking your website using 3rd party you're looking at R2k max. Compare cost to meal out with family. Annual SARS & business filings to keep on shelf. Sorry last month was weeks ago and I did a whole lot in a kind of fugue so you'll have to look up how to do it yourself. I didn't see any huge regulatory obstacles to doing business in SA you can basically set one up while building a product for market. The most difficult part was identifying gap in market. Literally years. Fun experience maybe I'll review my notes one day and do it again.
