Let’s all stop pretending. The NRL don’t want a team in Perth. The other arguments are garbage. We’re not paying a licence fee when no one else had to. The key Reds lesson was don’t pay what other clubs don’t. WA conceded colours and logo and that still wasn’t enough. The ground is more than acceptable. The argument about two AFL big clubs is nonsense - every other comp has a team here and there’s more than enough support. Just don’t give the NRL another cent of WA Govt money in the future. Not one.
