If they do get Boozer I suspect the Kings will need to move on from Raynaud eventually. Kind of like Josh Giddey in OKC– clearly good player who didn't fit the direction of the team, so they swapped him for a role guy in Caruso, and won

@o_a_khan Boozer is such an interested pick here because. You can probably mix/match Max, Dylan and Boozer for 96 minutes as needed and be effective. Defense might a liiitle shaky in those Max/Boozer minutes but the offense has the potential to be electric.

All the Kings fans talk about him not fitting with Max or the current roster is dumb. You draft for a STAR it doesnt matter what they fit like with the roster. We have seen how drafting for fit has worked in the past.

I'm not trying to troll here, but please use your common sense here people. We are finally playing a good team trying to win and we are being exposed for exactly what we are and our prior wins against tanking teams didn't mean anything. We aren't learning how to win or any of that nonsense. We were simply playing very bad teams who understand better than we do that losing is better than winning at this time of year when you are a bad team.

Doug Christie doubled down on his stance about tanking. He says as long as he is here in Sacramento, the Kings will never tank. Every time they step on the floor, they will try to win.
He says tanking hurts the young guys on your team currently, and also pointed out that Dallas won the lottery last year after beating the Kings in the play-in.

@ScottPerryGM Tanking is the right thing to do now, and it is not easy. The path of least resistance is to play to beat teams that are actually tanking. Be different from prior Kings teams. Be intelligent! Secure a top-5 pick. Do not do what you are currently doing. Do not be foolish.

The Kings act like they are Miami or LA or something. Like they think they can just get a franchise player in free agency or something. This is their once-in-a-decade chance to do it in the draft, and they are blowing it.
