Teacher effectiveness is not greatly improved by curriculum, new programs, or initiatives. But, when teachers are respected, valued, supported, & feel like their talents are utilized, then morale increases, job engagement soars, & students benefit too!

We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They get 15 mins of recess every hour. They have NO standardized tests except for PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. When we can’t give students more recess, physical activity & Arts then we don’t understand education.

Has anyone changed schools and been able to transfer all their @MicrosoftFlip content to their new email address? I can't find a way to contact Flip and my old email account was disabled, so I can't log in and transfer. Am I missing something?

Breaking News. Adults learned without learning targets. The learning target being on the board and having kids repeat is NOT the determining factor of the students are learning.

To the people who say it’s all about the kids. Just remember the kids learn in an environment created by the teacher. A teacher who is supported, encouraged and appreciated will create a more positive and dynamic learning environment than a teacher who is not supported that way.
