SOS Day 30: Overton Park 🍂🍁🍃 We cleaned up the pavilion at the park and dig up the mulch around it, and replaced it with gravel to prevent fires 👍😁 #CBUENGAGE This was our LAST service event for SOS this year. We hate to see it go so soon 😢🆘❤️ #WELOVECBUSOS Finale:Oct4th

SOS Day 28: DONE 🆘✅ At Alpha Omega Veterans Garden, we learned about sustainable farm methods, their partnership with the Farmer’s market, got a tour, learned about when the farm started (2018) 🌽🥕🥒🍅 #CBUENGAGE cbu.edu/sos

🆘 Day 27 - ✅ Word Of Faith! We had an amazing time at Word of Faith and the volunteers were amazing. We cleaned, washed vans that they use to deliver food in Memphis among other things, and we also tutored children in multiple subjects. Keep up the good work SOS! 🆘

Day 26 of CBU SOS: Memphis Athletic Ministries 🏀🏸 DONE ✅ This was the BEST service event EVERRR! We played board games and basketball with the kids and even helped them with their homework. 😁 You GOTTA LOVE THE CHILDREN ❤️❤️🆘 #CBUENGAGE cbu.edu/sos

Day 25: ✅ Walk A Mile In Her Shoes! Our volunteers helped with set up and registration for the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes campaign at the University of Memphis! Keep up the good work, SOS! 👏🏼🆘👠👡♥️

Day 24 of SOS: Mid-South Food Bank!!🍎🍞🧀 DONE ✅ WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Especially working along side the GREAT CBU faculty and staff. We have such an amazing school! We made 792 boxes, total weight 13,441 pounds of food. Which equals about 16,136 meals!! ❤️ #CBUENGAGE

Day 23: ✅ Memphis Child Advocacy Center We spent the afternoon making bookmarks and magnets for CAC to give away! They usually use these to give away at fairs/gala’s and wherever they have event booths at. Keep on serving! 🆘✅ #CBUEngage

SOS Day 22: DONE 📌❤️ We helped at SHELBY FARMS with cleaning up around the playground and picking up trash around the walkways. OMG IT’S OUR LAST WEEK OF SOS 😰 But It Will RETURN 💪😁 It’s not to late to sign up❗️ cbu.edu/sos #CBUENGAGE WOOOOTT WOOOOTT 🆘🆘

Day 21- ✅ The Compost Fairy! We helped with shoveling compost and bagging it up to be managed. We also cleaned buckets that had waste in them! This was one of the biggest events I’ve been a part of! #CBUEngage #SOS

We ENTER TO LEARN And We LEAVE TO SERVE. Like We SERVE SERVE‼️❤️ SOS Day 20: Memphis River Parks! Done! We spent the whole time painting railings along the riverfront bluff walk. It was SO fun getting to paint together and learn about the parks along the river. #CBUENGAGE

CBU SOS DAY 18 : DONE ✅ Look at the enthusiastic team we had for WOLF RIVER CONSERVANCY today! One group scraped mud away from a buried dock, while another clipped brush away from bridge overpasses. Our final group fished trash out of the woods by the trail head. ❤️ #CBUENGAGE

Day 17: ✅ Boys & Girls Club Our volunteers worked with all different ages at the Boys and Girls Club! They focused on helping with homework, literacy, and playing fun games. Keep up the good work, SOS! 🆘♥️ #CBUEngage

Day 15: ✅ Levitt Shell- DONE! Our volunteers carried the iconic donation buckets around during a free concert during the Levitt Shell’s fall lineup. Great job, CBU! Keep up the good work! #CBUEngage

GOOO CBU‼️ #CBUENGAGE Day 14 : DONE ✅ Memphis Civitan Cooper-Young Festival 😁🆘 All done in 3 shifts, 33 Great SOSers had such an amazing time bonding with the Kids and overseeing the facilitation of tickets, and making sure the kids were safe! ❤️❤️ YAY #CooperYoungFest

CBU SOS Day 13: ✅ Meritan Our volunteers spent the afternoon helping out Meritan by making name tags for an upcoming event and putting up a Christmas tree!
