⚠️A woman has SLAMMED lenient sentencing after she was abducted and brutally r-ped by a man posing as a taxi driver in Glasgow. 👉 Iraqi Kurdish "refugee" Barzan Nawshowani, 38, targeted the 20YO woman and her friend coming out of a bar in 2022. He dropped the friend home then drove her to a Turkish barber shop where he worked, locked her inside, turned off CCTV and violently attacked her. She believed she was going to be killed. In court the married father-of-two blamed the victim & showed no remorse. He was jailed for a PATHETIC 6 years in 2024, later increased to a STILL PATHETIC 8 years. The victim argues it should have been 15–16 years given the severity of abduction and r-pe. And I completely agree. A pathetic sentence for him - while she is sentenced to a lifetime of trauma. ➡️He should also be deported.

Fight! Do you mean a young man being assaulted and attacked by multiple others for being White and Autistic, and has ADHD it has been going on for a year these animals even threatened to rape and kill his mum! It’s clearly a Racist Disabilty attack for goodness sake, and must be treated as such. Imagine this was on the other side of things it would and quite rightly so been addressed and stopped immediately!!!

I am absolutely shocked and appalled by the horrific fight that took place outside Bellahouston Academy, footage of which was released in the media yesterday. The video is far too distressing to share, but the seriousness of the incident cannot be ignored. My thoughts are with the pupils, staff, and families affected. No child or teacher should ever feel unsafe in or around their school. Schools must be places of learning, safety, and respect - not fear. Regrettably, this incident is not an isolated one. Across our communities, we are seeing increasing concerns about violence involving young people. That is why we in Parliament must do more - working closely with local authorities, schools, police, and youth services - to ensure stronger prevention measures, better support systems, and clear consequences for violent behaviour. I am hopeful that the headteacher will receive full support from the government in addressing this incident and in taking the most effective and appropriate action against those responsible. We must stand firmly behind our educators as they work to maintain safe learning environments. Protecting our young people and those who teach them must be a national priority. I will continue to press for meaningful action to ensure our schools are safe for every pupil and every member of staff.
