Explore more than two petabytes of #opendata from particle physics! Visualise detector collisions, start a Virtual Machine and run your own physics analyses.

The CERN Council has approved a new policy for #OpenScience at CERN The policy aims to make all #CERN research fully accessible, inclusive, democratic, and transparent, both for researchers and the wider society. Find out more: home.cern/news/news/know…

⁉️ Can #OpenData lead to new discoveries? Join @FosdemResearch at 17:20 CET on Feb 5th to hear @clelange from @cern tell us about the #data openly released by the @CMSExperiment and how it could help unveil hidden #physics More info: fosdem.org/2022/schedule/…

Project leader of the @HIPhysics Education and Open Data project @KatiLassila receives the @helsinkiuni Open Science Award. Well deserved recognition. Congratulations Kati!

We're happy to announce the release of a new batch of LHC Open Data with all the data recorded by CMS in 2011. With this release, CMS has brought all 2010-2011 proton-proton collision data into the public domain, free to use and available to anyone. cmsexperiment.web.cern.ch/cms/open-data-…

The release of #opendata from the LHC is motivated, in part, by the desire to ensure that these #data continue to remain available to researchers in the future. @RaoOfPhysics @KatiLassila @tpmccauley @tiborsimko @CERN. 👉buff.ly/35lT2vt @AnnLaureMention @worldscientific
