Sweet treats were the order of the day as we said "Goodbye" to Charlie in Stage 3 as he is moving on to his next destination after the Easter holidays.

From frisbee throwing to cheesecake making, flower arranging to Lego and candle making; these are just some of the activities we offer our students at Stage 2. Our main focus in Stage 2 is helping our young people to build confidence whilst supporting their overall well-being.

A great example of how to follow a Mary Berry recipe for Sticky Toffee pudding. Luke has followed the recipe and achieved an AQA for his efforts!

Some beautiful art work created by Taryn in Stage 3 inspired by the poem 'In Flanders Fields' by Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae on May 3, 1915, after burying a friend. The poem inspired the adoption of the red poppy as an international symbol of remembrance.

Mother's Day will soon be upon us (Sunday 15 March) and so students in Stage 2 have been busy today making some beautiful bouquets and displays for important people in their lives.

Every student we work with benefits greatly from the whole team around them. Team work certainly makes the dream work at Pathways. Learning to work with and build trust with other professionals is a key component to the work that we do.

It was wonderful this morning to see the hard work that the students put in at the beginning of November is now starting to show as we welcome the first signs of Spring at Oak farm. A reminder that with time, effort and teamwork, great things grow. 💐💐💐

On Tuesday 18 November we were pleased to be able to offer training on neurodiversity and faith to 50 x senior leaders from different faith schools across the Birmingham diocese.

There has been a higher demand at Pathways this year for Functional Skills Maths and English tutoring. They are currently taking place both face-to-face and on-line. We are proud that we have our very first student working towards Level 2 English Functional Skills.
