Applicants must check their emails for rescheduled dates. Visa services now run only in Lagos. On April 8, 2026, the US allowed non-essential staff and families to leave Abuja voluntarily. They cited a fast deteriorating security situation. The embassy stays open but with very limited services. This is not normal. Embassies rarely pull staff like this unless risks are serious. What does the US know that we don’t?
