“well, just remember you did just have open heart surgery, there’s bound to be some pain,” she says softly, then tilts her head again.

“mostly like a dull ache, but sometimes it turns into random really sharp shooting pains.” shrugging her shoulders, tyler finally looked up from her lap to look at teddy with a small frown on her face.

her eyebrows lift at that, and she sits forward a bit in her chair.
“it’s a bad thing that you lied, yes,” she says with a pointed look. “but first, what sort of chest pain? what does it feel like?”

she nods at that, slipping her hands into her pockets.
“yeah of course you can. what’s up?” she asks softly, taking a seat in the chair next to her bed.

looking up, tyler gave teddy a small smile before she tucked her book away and decided to focus properly on the conversion instead. “i just… can i ask you something?”

she’s making her way to @straynoises room, slipping inside once she arrives with a small smile.
“i’ve been told you need me? is everything okay?” she asks, tilting her head.

“josie, you know that’s not the case,” she says, lifting her eyebrows. “you shouldn’t even be here at all. you should be home with your sister, talking to your mom, grieving. but i approved, because i know you,” she says, crossing her own arms.

she takes the tablet and looks over it, then back up at josie.
“you should consider yourself lucky that i even approved you to step foot in the hospital. i can’t change peoples shifts just to appease you kiddo,” she says, handing the tablet back to josie.
