Boat Race coverage on Channel 4 was awful. Inane presenter kept on asking crew members "How are you feeling?" Can't they think of some diffeent questions?! Plus he announced that the winning Cambridge Men's crew had lost!

#OTD 1948 Mary Tourtel, creator of Rupert the Bear, dies aged 74 at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, a week after she collapsed in Canterbury High Street from a brain tumour. She was buried with her husband at St Martin's Church, Canterbury.
